BRIDGEZ - building bridges looks at the beginning, the construction, the reconstruction of a social relationship under challenges, contradictions, internal and external influences. And to the space that connects us. BRIDGEZ - building bridges is a research project to which I invite the other core members of the nein9 kollectiv to participate performatively in complex relationship-building processes that reflect social dynamics. As their bodies move through the space in different positions and directions, we ask ourselves: What connects us to each other anyway? What connects us naturally? Which connections happen by chance? Which connections do we consciously want to make? And what other connections can we initiate around us? Which movement mechanisms can be used to connect bodies in space? The first publicly accessible insight into this work will be the work-in-progress sharing on 30.08. and 05.09. during the Blank Check Festival 2024, in co-production with DOCK ART
